A squat glass jar under a green paper cap tied with jute twine — the Berestov house style, and genuinely attractive on a shelf. The honey inside is pale, clear gold and still liquid.
The label tells you where the honey actually came from, which almost no honey does:
Harvest regions: Veselovsky and Bagaevsky districts, Rostov Oblast — the Don river valley Dominant nectar source: white acacia (Robinia pseudoacacia) Tasting notes: rich acacia aroma with hints of duchess pear and mint; clean, fruity flavour with a long floral finish
Named districts, named botanical species, and a printed tasting note. There is also a QR code on the label — "scan and see the beekeepers who collected this for you."
Acacia honey is the connoisseur's choice: very pale, mild, and slow to crystallise, so it stays liquid and clear far longer than most honeys.
