A long double ring of deep mahogany smoked kielbasa in a vacuum pack, labelled against a Polish flag with the crowned white eagle. Weselna means "wedding" — the kielbasa traditionally served at Polish wedding feasts, and a step up from everyday zwyczajna. Coarser, garlicky, heavily smoked. Fully cooked, so it can be eaten cold, but it is at its best warmed through or browned in a pan.
It carries an explicit GLUTEN FREE mark on the front — a yellow roundel, printed by the manufacturer. That is a stated claim rather than an inference from the ingredient list, which makes it the only sausage in this folder you can tag gluten free with confidence.
The recipe is clean for the category: pork, water, salt, spices, garlic, sugar, sodium nitrite, sodium erythorbate, vinegar. Nine items, no MSG, no soy, no phosphates.
