Western Gourmet Soujuk Beef Sausage, 8 oz

Pre-sliced coins of dark red dried beef sausage, marbled with white fat, stacked in a vacuum pack. Soujuk (sucuk) is the dry-cured garlic-and-paprika beef sausage of Turkey, Armenia and the Balkans — firm, spicy, deeply savoury. Traditionally fried until the fat renders and the edges curl, then served with eggs.

Garlic is the second ingredient, right after beef, which is exactly right for soujuk — this is a garlic sausage first and foremost. Beef only, no pork, so it suits customers avoiding pork. Pre-sliced, which saves a hard job with a very firm sausage.
